In the summer of 2006, when Patriot Pool & Spa started with 1 weekly cleaning account in Hutto, TX, the goal was growth. Growth not just for growth’s sake, but a belief that a focus on customer service above all else could lead to dramatic growth in an industry not known for customer service.
It took us awhile to get traction. We were only a 1 person company for the first 5 years of our existence, but the race was on as soon as we had the opportunity to make our first hire.
Our rocket fuel has been our people. When we hire, we make our hires based on 3 qualities that the candidate must possess: a positive attitude, passion for good work, and the ability to communicate at an excellent level.
This is our explanation for how a swimming pool service company was invited to take part for the 2nd year in a row in a fancy gala celebrating the fastest growing companies in Austin, many of whom happen to be in “fancier” industries.
