The service I receive and have now for some years is exceptional. When there has been disruption for any reason, weather, staff, pollen, etc, the company has always recovered my pool quickly. It is unfortunate that the name of the company has been tainted by the abuse of the word "patriot", but they do good work.

Here I am again.... reporting on Patriot Pool & Spa. Now it's the pool having a problem! Well, I'm thrilled to report that Patriot has once again came thru with flying colors going above and beyond to make sure my pool is in good working order. It took a bit.... but over the past 2 days the General Manager (Walt), the Service Manager (JT), the Repair Manager (Frank) and my pool technician (Gion) showed up at my home. They diagnosed the problem and instead of just ordering the parts and me not being able to use my pool in this horrific heat for several days, they drove and picked up the parts, got them installed and the pool is up and running great! I am in awe that these guys cared enough to come to my home to see first-hand what was going on with the equipment! Good Customer Service is so rare these days...... however Patriot has the right idea that's for sure! A special thanks to Nicole, the office manager, as she orchestrated her team and got the job done efficiently and quickly. Thanks Patriot Pool and Spa for great teamwork and for getting my pool back to superb working order.

I was with a pool company for 24 years and then they changed hands and the service went down! I was recommended Patriot pool by a neighbor and I can’t begin to describe the service I have received! They are so friendly, knowledgeable and committed to keeping my pool and hot tub clean. They don’t gouge me with unnecessary pricing, they are very honest and caring. I would definitely recommend Patriot Pool to anyone who is looking for a pool and spa cleaning service! A special shout out to my weekly technician, Jared he is a super friendly and patient guy! Also to Richard who was fixing my hot tub and a stupendous and knowledgeable guy named Frank who diagnosed the problem and located the dinosaur of a part as my hot tub is 25 years old! We hired Patriot Pool when my husband had some serious medical issues, and he was unable to continue to keep our pool up. We had intended it to be a temporary hire. But we have been so pleased with the service that we continue to use Patriot Pool. Consistent, reliable and professional. We chose Patriot Pool because my nephew works with them, and he generally is our "Pool Boy." When he's unavailable, the other guys have been great!

I do not have to wonder if they will be there…all consistency in their services makes my life much easier. No worries! And I still uphold my kudos to my tech Cameron! 8/22/2024 UPDATE: I am updating my review because the service from Patriot Pool and Spa has exceeded my expectations for these swimming months! Cameron, my weekly pool tech, remains providing the BEST customer service!!!! He answers all questions and the performance to provide the best customer service cannot be disputed concerning my pool or the equipment. Kudos to Cameron!! I have no regrets about the upkeep of my pool. I have the same technician each week, Cameron, who does an excellent job! He is very attentive to his job. My pool is always clean and the reports given each visit tell me what has been completed. I used another company prior to switching and watched from the camera what actions were taken. They did not provide what their advertising or pool cleaning reports stated. I was being charged for services I didn’t receive. Then I switched. Now I don’t bother looking at the camera because I know that I get exactly what I pay for! The company provides the service like clockwork and if you have any questions you are able to text or call and get an answer. I highly recommend! Again, thank you Cameron!

Use them as our weekly service provider on our pool and spa. Alway quick to let us know if any upcoming maintenance needs that may be required, chemicals added to the pool, generally being clean when they leave. Recommend them as a service provider.

Patriot Pools and spa always does a complete and professional job

I am writing this review to thank Hunter (service supervisor) and Patriot Pools for the outstanding service I have been receiving. As background, we bought a home with a large swimming pool and spa, but there are 4 Live Oak trees, 1 Pecan Tree, and a Crape Myrtle surrounding our pool/spa. We don't want to cut these beautiful trees down (although we have pruned them) and every season from Autumn through the Winter, these trees work hard to dump as many leaves, seed pods, and branches into the pool and spa as possible. We tried two other pool/spa maintenance companies before Patriot, but they were not able to keep it clean and usable. Patriot was recommended to me and they inspected the pool and spa, and determined that a deep clean was needed to create a good clean baseline. They offered me a good price and went to work. Within 2 to 3 weeks, the water was clear and swimmable. As a result, we have engaged Patriot in weekly service and have been very pleased with the support we've received. Recently as cold weather hit, I called Patriot and spoke with Hunter, one of the managers there. I needed help to winterize the pool as quickly as possible, and was very pleasantly surprised that Hunter dropped what his was doing and headed over to our home to winterize the pool and spa himself. I thought this service was "above and beyond" normal care and want to publicly thank Hunter for his commitment to excellent customer service. He has also been available in the past to field my calls when I've had questions on pool operation. It has certainly been a struggle to wrench control of our pool and spa from the surrounding trees, but Patriot has really partnered with us along the way. I heartily recommend Patriot Pools to anyone looking for a competent, responsible, and professional pool service company. Thanks!!

Our pool has never looked so good. I was under the assumption that any chemicles were included in the monthly service fee, however, I was charged an additional amount for the chemicles.

We recently purchased the home with the pool and my family who lives in the area recommended them to me. They have been excellent, teaching us as they take care of the pool.

If I rated the 10 best companies in Austin that I use Patriot Pools would be at the top. Our pool always looks perfect, they are always on schedule , polite and professional. They take and send phots of the pool before and after the service: all the equipment, skimmer baskets, gages, AND gate to show that it is secure. We have dogs and they love the service technicians. Used other companies- no one comes close.

Been using Patriot Pool (T & D) since 2012 when T & D put my pool in. When I needed service Patriot has always attended to my needs in a timely manner. Pool cleaning service has kept my pool looking just like it was after installation in 2012. Water has always been clear and have had no issues with cloudy water.

Travis is top notch in servicing our pool. Meticulous, and thorough. Exceeded our expectations. Only reason this is not a 5 star is we have asked and Travis has repeatedly passed on our request to the home office for a quote to install a hand rail to exit pool. No response in 4 months.

UPDATING, A YEAR LATER: Patriot continues to be an excellent & reliable pool service company. Our weekly tech is Josh Richardson & hard to imagine anyone doing a better job - a true professional, but at the same time a super nice guy and very approachable. Also extremely knowledgable and clearly knows exactly what he's doing. We feel like Josh maintains our pool with the same care & concern as if it were his own. That's the highest compliment we can give. Conclusion: Continues to be a great company with competitive pricing and great service (especially our tech Josh). Overall, A+++ PRIOR REVIEW: B&B did our weekly pool maintenance prior to their merger into Patriot Pools. I'm happy to report that Patriot has not only provided the good service we were used to, but has proven themselves to be absolutely excellent. On the two or three occasions that I called Patriot to clarify something about our service or billing or any other matter, I immediately had someone on the line who understood exactly what I was asking, who knew the answer and who then explained it perfectly. We had Brian and Patrick come out to install a variable speed pump after our 20yr old single speed failed. They did a very thorough job, worked with remote support to be sure every thing was working properly and overall had a very good attitude and communication. The pump was very expensive and I was pleasantly surprised to get a note from Liz from Patriot that they would assist getting energy credit worth $300 from our utility. Highly recommend Patriot Pool.

5 star review goes out to Patriot Pool and Spa. I'm a new customer and after just a few weeks of service the technician that was cleaning my pool stopped working for the company and there was some confusion on the cleaning schedule etc. They sent out the supervisor, Tyler, and he worked very hard making everything right. He said he would be doing the cleaning until they hired someone and then would be with him until he was ready to be on his own. He was also able to clean up the calcium marks by the by the 2 waterfalls in just two visits. The previous service company said that there was nothing they could do. I also needed a new pump and Tyler helped me get the price down and the pump was installed that day. I only wish I could keep Tyler every week. Nick install the pump and he was very polite and efficient. He answered all my questions and didn't rush me at all. When I offered him a tip he said it wasn't necessary. That makes a statement right there because most service people kinda stand around expecting a tip. Again, thanks Patriot Pool & Spa, Tyler and Nick for making everything right!!!

This is my second time to use Patriot Pools for service and both times they have been quick, friendly, honest, and at a fair price. They do quickly what others say will take a while or can't be done. Could not have been happier with their service. Thanks Colin and thanks Patriot.

I called Patriot on a Saturday afternoon and they had a technician here on Monday. He was very knowledgeable and deduced the problem in minutes, Patriot’s fees are in line with everyone else but their responsiveness makes them the clear choice.

I contacted them through their website and somebody texted me a few hours later. It was extraordinarily convenient. They did a great job explaining what they were going to do and then they executed everything flawlessly.

Brandon did such a good job at getting our pool in our new home in tiptop shape for us to enjoy as soon as we moved in! We have had a few different companies clean our spa over the years. Typically if we get someone really good, that person gets moved or ends up leaving. We have had some really bad techs and a few good ones. For the past few months we have had a tech, Mike Shipman, who is outstanding. He stays on top of things and does his job like no other. Our spa has never looked better. He is the BEST!!

Garrett is great about showing up for his appointments! He is always friendly and very approachable! My pool is cleaned weekly and the cleanliness is maintained by Garrett! We appreciate his hard work , especially in this heat!

7/10/25 Paul serviced our pool in his usual conscientious and diligent way. It was looking a little tired from the rain storms but he quickly and efficiently got it back to its sparkling condition. More importantly, he took the time to figure out several problems and rectified those he could and explained what I needed to do in order to fix a potential issue with the installation. We appreciate his attention to detail and honest work ethic. He is far and above the rest of the crowd!!!

Had a cloudiness/algae problem I couldn't clear with algicide and clarifier. Called Patriot, high phosphate level found. Carlos A did a treatment, water turned milky which required 24-hour continuous filtration for 5 days to clear. Carlos checked and cleaned the filter every day (even July 4) and now the water has never looked better. Excellent job

I am a multi year happy customer of Patriot Pools and I’m lucky now to have Debbie Merritt caring for my pool weekly. My favorite things about Debbie or her depth of knowledge excellent communication and the fact that it just seems like she genuinely cares about doing excellent work. Patriot should clone Debbie!!

Nick did a great job replumbing our pool. All is working well now and he was very patient explains all the new valves etc.

I use patriot for our weekly pool service but have also used them for repairs to our pool equipment. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. They are so easy to communicate with, techs arrive when they are scheduled and all quotes are sent before the app for the owner to approve. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

After always having problems with our previous pool company, with coordinating scheduling for spa, pool, and lower basin, and them claiming “it’s a design flaw”, after only 2 weeks, Patriot Pools got everything running clean and all scheduling working fine. No design flaws here!

Water feature was not working, so I called the repair dept on Saturday. Josh answered and was great! He looked up our equipment and was able to tell us how to fix the valve setting. All good now, thanks to Josh!

For the past month, we have been utilizing the services of Patriots Pool and Spa, and I must say, the experience has been quite remarkable. Although their rates are a bit higher compared to my former pool service, the professionalism and thoroughness provided by Teigan (Service Technician) are truly commendable. Compared to my previous service, which often completed the cleaning in 10 minutes, Teigan dedicates significantly more—about 50 to 60 minutes—to ensure every pool corner is meticulously cared for. This extra attention to detail has made a noticeable difference; my pool sparkles like never before, and I genuinely appreciate the commitment to excellence that Teigan brings. It's reassuring to know that our pool is in such capable hands.

6/19/25 Paul waited out the huge storm today so that our pool would not go without its weekly cleaning. We truly appreciate his dedication and reliability. His expertise is also much appreciated. Paul is an exemplary employee and a real asset to Patriot Pools!!

We have been using Patriot Pools for weekly maintenance for over a year. They have been helpful in educating us new pool/spa owners. They are responsive to questions and quickly address issues that may arise. Tyler the supervisor has been especially helpful in diagnosing and treating water quality issues and keeping an eye on maintenance needs, recommending upgrades to our equipment when necessary. It is well worth it to not have to test, treat, stock and store Chemicals in our home.

Absolutely amazing work by Brandon (once again!). Brandon from Patriot Pools is a Godsend. He’s cleaned the filters, replaced the regulator on the gas heater line, and installed a replacement salt cell for me. He’s fast, knowledgeable, and will always suggest the most effective, low-cost alternative if funds are tight. When he says I could save money by installing an upgraded variable speed pump, I know I’m not being upsold. Can’t recommend enough!!

My pool controller went out over the long Memorial Day weekend and I tried to get someone to come out then. While I reached their answering service on Sunday, the first call back was on Tuesday after Memorial Day. Able to diagnose the problem over the phone and was able to get someone out later that week. The technician called ahead to insure the gate was unlocked, notified me when he arrived and performed the work quickly. This was a board replacement and an upgrade to the iAquaLink system. Technician did the initial system programming and connected it to the household WiFi.

They have provided excellent pool cleaning for several years. Recently we had some vandalism to our plumbing and the pool drained. They were quick to respond, order parts and make the repairs. They make routine maintenance suggestions and follow up with repairs Kudos to Tyler Kidd!

I had canceled service due to not knowing if we were going to keep an inherited house… Since then I have started service back up, and was very impressed with the expeditious manner in which Patriot “Turned my Green pool back to a Sparkling Clear pool! Tyler has been very helpful and his service is excellent!!! Management team is doing a great job with the Service!!!

They are knowledgeable, friendly, and showed up within 48 hours of quote approval to install a new salt cell and chlorine tower. They also replaced three lights for us and did a clean, professional job. At my last home, I installed the salt system and chlorine tower myself, so I know what goes into it. Their pricing was more than fair for the work they did, and their attention to detail really stood out. They even took the time to show us how to operate everything from an app, which made things super convenient. Their weekly cleanings have been excellent. They’re consistent, reliable, and even walked us through a fall plan to help manage leaves ahead of time. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a pool company that actually cares and knows what they’re doing.

There are many reasons why I would recommend Patriot Pools, quality, skills, knowledge, professionalism but the most important is responsiveness. My house was on the market and the weather was at its worst. I called Patriot Pools numerous times do extra cleanings, adjust the features, replace the LeD lights and the list goes on. They were so accommodating and helpful. Call them, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect experience! Scheduling was easy and their repair person could not have been nicer. I had a piece of leaking PVC and they replaced that section but also went above and beyond to replace some zig-zag pieces to make it all a lot cleaner. I’ll definitely use them again!

Just finished the their work and they went the extra mile on service. Ran short on lighting wire and had to order logistical pick up to finish the job. No question, top shelf service and good additudes to boot. Thank you very much for a job well done. Service techs should be recognized today.

5/15/25 Paul did quite a bit of time servicing on our pool today. He took care of all the parts and issues necessary to ensure that it is running smoothly and efficiently. He makes sure it is sparkling for our enjoyment. Paul is always friendly, engaging, professional and seems happy doing his job. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of maintenance and running of our pool. He is completely conscientious and diligent as well as reliable. Paul is truly an exemplary employee who represents Patriot Pools in the best manner possible.

John took care of us cleaning all the tile by hand. Turning our green pool crystal clear. He even came by the next day to make sure everything came out OK. His communication and quality to detail is amazing.

When I noticed the yellowish water in my spa, I was a little concerned. Thankfully, Billy, the supervisor from Patriot Pool & Spa, responded quickly. He came over, assessed the situation, and expertly tested the water. After carefully adding the necessary chemicals, the water transformed back to its normal, clear state. It's such a relief knowing I can rely on Patriot Pool & Spa for their weekly maintenance service – they really take the worry out of spa ownership!

Patriot Pools came out and did some warranty work for me changing lights in my pool and spa. They were able to get the part and come out very quickly. The technician that installed the lights was very kind and knowledgeable.

Patriot fixed everything... after a different company ruined my pool entirely (talking to you, Blue Science). Patriot may cost a little more, but absolutely worth every penny... and they did it quickly!!! The quality, service and speed are far above anybody else I've dealt with.

I just started using Patriot pools recently and I had an issue with the piping for the pool and spa not working together. So Tyler (great guy) the tech came to my home and checked it out. But the diagnosis was that the piping wasn't done to work that way. Bad plumbing from the ones who built the pool. Even though he wasn't able to fix it, he was still very nice. While I have experienced several assigned technician changes, all have been professional and personable. With the most recent company changes, it is evident that they are constantly looking to exceed customer satisfaction.

Patriot Pools has done an exceptional job in cleaning and maintaining our pool for at least 2+ years. Ryan, our pool technician is very professional and really knows what he is doing. We get a weekly confirmation of the pool being cleaned along with before and after pictures of our pool. When we have a problem that requires repairs, he promptly notifies us along with an explanation of the issue and the cost to repair it. We could not be happier with Patriot Pools!

Patriot has been my pool service provider for quite some time. They are very dependable and keep one apprised of holiday schedules. In addition to routine service they also undertake needed repairs. We highly recommend this company.

Happy with Patriot Pool and Spa. They aren’t the cheapest service or maintenance company. But in my experience you get what you pay for. We used a few different companies before Patriot, none have been as good. We had a few issues with our pool and had patriot do the service. The technician did a great job, and was very knowledgeable. We decided to use them for our weekly maintenance as well, so far the maintenance has been great. We are pleased with the work they do for us.

Josh is literally the best person ever! I highly recommend that you use patriot pool and spa for all of your pool care needs definitely Josh is someone who is more than willing capable to help you with whatever you need. He gives you thorough information and make sure that you feel well cared for and not just like a number if you haven’t called them yet you need to.

Patriot Pools has not only been a great pool service for our maintenance and cleaning, but we are truly treated like valuable customers. From the office personnel to the techs, nothing but class and great service. Jesse, our pool tech, recently had to clean the pool after a huge storm and wind gusts blew a ton of leaves into the pool. I meant to clean out the baskets but had early work meetings. He made it spotless again, didn’t complain (even though he had every right to), and he even picked up blown over furniture! Little did he know that my husband was out of town and I was barely holding it together! His professionalism mixed with being a very kind human goes a long way with me!
